MAKE A WISH UK

In 2022, Sizzling Pubs partnered with Make-A-Wish Foundation® UK, a charity which grants wishes to critically ill children across the UK.

With community spirit being at the heart of everything we do, our partnership with Make-A-Wish UK helps to make a real difference to the lives of children in the communities that our pubs are at the heart of.

When a child is diagnosed with a critical illness, the simple pleasures of childhood are replaced with worry, disruption, and medical appointments. We want to help children restore a part of their childhood and give them the chance to put their health worries aside.

That’s why we support Make-A-Wish UK by:

· Hosting fundraising events at our pubs, particularly around World Wish Day on 29^th April, as well as our own Festive Wish Day each December

· Donating 25p with every purchase of a specific dessert on our menu; currently the Eton Mess Sundae

· Donating 25p with every purchase of a dish from our festive menu; for 2023 this is the Hallelujmi Burger

To date our partnership has raised over £150,000 which is over 60 life-changing wishes!!
